St. George 2012

I have been a HORRIBLE blogger lately.. but I have great excuses lol!

We went to St George again this year and were smarter about the time we went.  Last year we visited my grandparents in August, a.k.a the hottest time EVER!! So this year we went in April.. much more enjoyable! We were still able to wear shorts and it did get to 90 degrees, but nothing like the 110 last year haha. As usual, my grandparents spoiled us rotten!  I didnt have to clean, cook, grocery shop, do homework, and I was able to take a shower and get ready without having to entertain Harper, or keep an eye on Kinsey (those of you without kids, ENJOY getting ready while you can!! ha).  Kinsey warmed right up and made herself at home very quickly!  Harper of course was just happy and content with everything, nothing new ;).  I miss my grandparents so much and wish we lived closer so we could see each other more.. But it def makes the time with them extra special when we do see them!  Both girls did AMAZING on the drive there and back!! On the way there we stopped once so I could feed Harper and were back on the road 20 min later, then on the way home, we made it to American Fork before Harper was screaming to be fed lol. I was so proud of them!

So.. We didnt even know these girls.. But Kinsey just walked right over and sat down next to them and made some new friends :)

Ok, Whoever says Grandmas are old and boring and dont know how to have fun havent met my grandma! Holy smokes! My Grandma is a dare devil and always up for an adventure! She talked us into doing a zip line and I will admit.. I was so nervous! Brandon and I even made her go first before we would jump off LOL nice grandkids right!?

We took advantage of having a babysitter for Harper and spent a lot of one-on-one time with Kinsey.  I dont think my Grandparents minded spending that one-on-one with Harper either :)

I got to take Kinsey down the slide this year!! I was pregnant with Harper last year and totally bummed I couldn't go down the slide.. I even went down by myself a couple times LOL

We were so sad to leave and head home.. It is ALWAYS a good time when we are with my grandparents.  We laughed so much and had lots of fun memories!  I think we need to visit twice a year instead of just once ;)  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for catering to all of our needs and for even watching the girls whenever you could so Brandon and I could to on a date and spend time together!  WE LOVE YOU!!!
