I know.. I know.. Im a little late. But better late then never right?! ha
My mothers day this year was fantastic!! I am beginning to LOVE this "holiday" because it has such a great meaning.. Mothers really are to thank for so much, I know my mom is. I decided this year I didnt want to worry about going to a bunch of get-togethers like I did last year, so I had a lunch at my house so everyone could come to me! My mom, Rob, Colton, Mason, Debbie and her husband Rob, and Devin all came to celebrate with Kinsey, Brandon, and me :) It was so nice to have just the small group of us and just RELAX!! We had yummy chicken salad sandwiches with a black bean salad and chips and a punch I made that I absolutely LOVE! Nothing fancy.. just simple and fun :).
Later that afternoon we had to still see Brandon's mom so we drove out to Honeyville to his aunts house.. On our way we stoped at my aunts to see my dad and he gave me some beautiful flowers, my aunt gave me some good smelling lotion, and my grandma gave me a really pretty watch! We ate dinner at Brandon's aunts and then headed home so we could spend the rest of the night with just our little family!
I am so thankful for my mom and for EVERYTHING she does for me!! She is my true best friend and is there for me no matter what. I hope I will be as close to Kinsey at this age as I am to my mom. The longest I have gone without talking to my mom is prob only 2 days and I honestly cant remember when that was.. I can talk to her about anything and know she will not judge me or look down on me, I know I make her proud and that is the BEST feeling in the world! Thank you mom for all you do for me and my family :)
Finally, I am so so so thankful for Kinsey and all the fun she has brought to my life! I dont know where I would be or what I would be doing without her. I am so lucky I get to spend 24/7 with my angel and wouldnt trade that for the world! How many moms at the age of 21 get to stay home with their babies?? Being a mom is one of the best things i have ever experienced :)
