Since I am going to the Circle of Life with this pregnancy, I get to have a DVD with each ultrasound on it and I LOVE that! Today Kinsey and I sat and watched from our first appointment when we just saw the yolk sac, to the second when i was 8 weeks along, and then the most recent! I pause it and point to the screen and say "this is the baby's arm" and then point to her arm and say "this is Kinsey's arm". lol I loved doing that with her because she would just smile the whole time and was just amazed with the TV screen. I want her to be as involved in this pregnancy as possible even though she is just little and has no idea of whats going on.. but at least we are having fun :) She has been to every appointment so far and she wont miss a single one either!
Some things have changed with me since I was eight weeks, and one MAJOR thing is I am feeling so so so so so much better!!! I can handle smells better and havent gotten "sick" for almost a week!! On the other hand, I have been so exhausted its not even funny! When Kinsey wakes me up in the morning, I feel like I havent slept and it takes me a good hour to have enough energy to do anything! Then I try to lay down with Kinsey when she naps but her naps are just not long enough for what I need haha I feel like I could sleep for 24 hours straight. I remember when I was pregnant with Kinsey and worked in South Ogden and lived in North Ogden, I would almost fall asleep driving home! There were several days I would stop at the Smith's on 12th street to take a quick power nap in my car lol I am also starting to notice my pants are getting tight around the waist :( I didnt have to wear maternity clothes til i was almost 30 weeks with Kinsey and even then I still had several regular pants I could fit into, but I might give in sooner this time. Belly bands, and a rubber band around the buttons work GREAT too haha But until then I will just continue to squeeze ;) Well thats about it for now.. My next appointment is scheduled 5 weeks out so I will see him when I am 17 weeks.. I did this so we could possibly find out the sex of our little "thing" :)
