7 Months Young ;)

Better late than never.. right?! Well our Miss Harps was 7 months on July 3rd and I cannot believe how much she is growing up.  She is still the happiest baby ever and I always get comments about how smiley she is :).  She will smile, grin and even flirt with random strangers.. we are in t.r.o.u.b.l.e! Harper gets frustrated at times because she wants to get up and run around like her big sis, but unfortunately for her, she isnt quite there in her development, thank goodness haha.  Here are some fun facts about our lil "chicken" (Harpers new nick name.. our poor, poor, kids)

*she is fully sitting up all on her own

*Harper loves the sound of her voice and will talk and blow raspberries all day (especially while she is eating.. its a mess but I love it)

*Her schedule is about the same.  She has started to wake up early from her afternoon nap so  we are in the process of shortening her morning nap..

*She nurses 4-5 times a day.  If we have been out in the hot for a long time I will usually nurse her just so she stays hydrated.  Then she is eating solids still for breakfast at 730am, lunch at 1130am, and dinner 530pm.  Harper is going through what is called a "nursing strike".  She refuses to nurse sometimes, even though she is hungry.  After doing some research, I learned that this is totally normal and to just work my way through it.  If I nurse her before a solid meal, she does better.  But sometimes the little stink just wants to sit at the table like a big girl and eat with her sister ;)

*I have started giving her little snacks.  Her favorite are the Graduates cheese puffs (just like puff cheetos).  She is not a fan of the yogurt drops..

*Harper now drinks out of a sippy cup for fun.  I will put ice cold water in one and she will go to town!  She usually sucks for a little bit then ends up just chewing on it.

*We have TEEFERS!! Her first tooth finally came through!!! It was a long few weeks but after lots of drooling and chewing on anything in her reach, it finally made it appearance. Her second bottom one will be poking through any day now as well.

*This girl knows how to throw a tantrum.. I dont know if its because she is learning from her pro of a sister.. or if it was just  a born talent.  She will throw herself forward and pretty much fold in half and she usually smacks her face on the floor which results in more yelling.  Nothing momma's loves cant fix ;)

*Harper is 100% a momma's girl!  If I am in the room, she will whine, grunt, and wiggle her way to get to me.  Her eyes are glued to me as well and if I go out of sight, she will cry.  This is bad.. very bad.. haha

We love our little girl so much and she is so PERFECT!! I couldn't have asked for a better baby :)  LOVE YOU MISS HARPS!
