Summer Days

I am enjoying every minute of being at home with Kinsey during the week!!  She is so much fun to play with and at such a great age where her personality is defiantly coming through lol  Kinsey is now only taking 2 naps a day and I LOVE it because now she is awake so much more which means more playing time :)  She has been eating solid food for a couple months now and enjoys it so much ha ha she even yells or gets mad if I take to long for the next bite!  I have been doing really well with making my own baby food - I buy organic from Good Earth and take a couple hours every other week to make it..  So far I have done sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apples, pears, green beans, peas, and peaches.  I am thinking I might have to start buying her food when I start school in a few weeks though :( 
Kinsey is now sitting up ALL on her own and prefers to play that way.  When she is on her back she would rather be on her belly and when she is on her belly she would rather be on her back ha ha.  Watching her sleep and all the different positions she puts herself in at night is quite funny as well!  She is her own little lady and already knows what she wants!
Yesterday we went to my mom's house like we normally do on Monday nights.  Kinsey loves her grandma and grandpa and uncles so much!!  I love the way she flirts and smiles at them as soon as she sees them!  After we went to my mom's we stopped by my dads to pick up some things and he gave her a Green Apple licorice and man did she LOVE that!  I would take it to bite the soggy part off so she wouldn't choke on it and as soon as it would leave her hand she would start screaming and pull the pouty lip out ha ha she is only 6 months old and already knows how to get her way!!
