Miss America!

Wow did we have fun on the 3rd and 4th of July!  We went to the parade as a family on Saturday and Kinsey had so much fun :)  It stared off rough when we were trying to find a place to sit because people start putting their chairs out a week in advance, I swear!!  When we found an empty place to put our chairs, this lady kept complaining saying we were in her spot so we relocated just so we wouldn't have to listen to her complain anymore lol. We found a perfect place in the shade and it was all good from then on.  Kinsey loved watching all the floats go by except for one of the semis honked the horn right in front of us and that kinda scared her but other then that her legs and arms were a goin and she kept trying to talk to them lol she had a BLAST!  After the parade we drove up to Cherry Days and walked around there for a bit.  Kinsey chose this time to take a quick cat nap in her stroller while we ate.  Brandon and I got Zeppies ice cream and I of course shared mine with Kinsey ha ha Brandon gets mad at me all the time for sharing my food with her!  My excuse is I dont want her to be a picky eater ;)  After we left Cherry Days we had to go home so Brandon could get ready for work.. BOOOO!!!  The rest of the day was just me and Kinsey hangin out and later when Brandon got home we lit some fireworks!

On the 4th of July Kinsey and I got ready and went to church.  She is such a good baby- I know I brag about that all the time but it's so true!! She just sits on my lap and listens and when she starts to get tired I cuddle her in my arms and she sleeps the rest of the time. She very rarely makes a peep..  Then we came home and took a nap as a family ;)  Brandon had to work that day as well :( but he got off earlier so we had a little BBQ with just us and we made cheddar brats with corn on the cob, pasta salad and watermelon!  Kinsey LOVES watermelon lol she was smiling and laughing the whole time she was eating it!!!  It also gave her so much energy so she was able to stay awake and watch some of the fireworks with mom and dad ;)
