Well Kinsey is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday it seems like. She had her 4 month well-child check last Monday and everything went pretty good - except for those nasty shots! She was in such a good mood the whole time we were waiting for the dr, she was talking and smiling and just having a grand ole time lol When the dr came in to check her, she was flirting with him so much ha ha it was too dang funny! He was looking in her ears and she just stared at him and smiled and would blink her big blue eyes.. she already knows what to do to get her way ;) They gave her the the two shots (one in each leg) and the oral vaccine YUCK! I felt so bad for her.. before she started crying she stuck out her bottom lip and it started quivering. Sadest thing I have ever seen! I hate when she has to get shots but for the rest of the day she is always attached to my hip and I cant put her down, that part I LOVE ha it gives me a perfect excuse to not to a thing around the house and to take naps with her.
Kinsey is still just rolling over from her stomach to her back. She loves the sound of her own voice and still has the nickname "lil Mariah Carey" because she can get some high notes ha she is now sleeping 11 hours straight, goes to bed around 8pm and wakes up at 7am :) She is getting closer and closer everyday to sitting up on her own. I put her in her little boppy and she is quite content as long as she has some toys around her to play with. Another new thing is we have started rice cereal and we are now up to 2 different vegies, butternut squash and green beans. Her first attempt with butternut squash was kinda funny lol she gagged at first then reached for the spoon and wanted more. She also LOVES green beans, the first time I fed them to her she was getting mad and yelling at me because I wasnt getting them in her mouth fast enough ha ha Kinsey giggles everyonce in awhile now (espeically when we play peek-a-boo) but not as often as I like! Her laugh is my FAVORITE sound so of course I'm not going to get enough of it!
